Your projects step by step...
- Lisa meets up with you at your home to discuss the scope of your project, possible design solutions, a realistic budget, and a construction timeframe.
- Then comes the design and the estimate development. Lisa presents you with her new plans in order for you to see how she can transform your existing house into your new home. She will take as much time as you need for you to fully understand the plans, review various options and alternates, and listen to your comments and suggestions to help you determine what, if any, alterations should be made to the plans.
- Upon presentation of the final plans and scope of work, you will sign the actual construction contract. All details will have been discussed prior to this date, providing a smooth start for your project.
- Lisa is responsible from the beginning of construction through to the final completion of the job. She is available either by phone or through the office during all business hours, and will have regular meetings with you to discuss the job progress and answer any questions you may have.
***In order to make a decision, a quote is priory given to the client for the work that will be done and its cost. In the case of a fixed price contract, the stipulated price will stay unchanged. If there is considerable renovation work needing to be done, it becomes harder to predict the budget outcome. This results in contingencies being added to the estimate and allowances for the unknown selections. A ‘cost plus’ contract provides here a better pricing, and the homeowner receives a reduced mark up by sharing in the risk.
