Lisa Turner, president of Angler Construction Co. Inc., brings communication to the front.

Lisa accrued a keen customer focus, and perspective for construction projects initially in the role of consumer. Previous experience; in retail, restaurants, and residential renovation, have given her experience in both the light commercial and residential areas. Starting early in the retail industry with her family, she managed retail build-outs in Ft. Worth, Texas and Charleston, South Carolina as the owner. Since moving to Decatur, Georgia in 1984, she started a catering business and opened two restaurants.

Starting Angler Construction in 1995, Lisa has brought her skills in management and communication to her construction business. For her, the creative side of the construction business is the most enjoyable. Her own home was on the Decatur Tour of Homes. She relishes helping clients make their many choices not only for finishes and fixtures, but the design decisions that make the difference. She is not only concerned about the appearance of the project, but the functionality as well. She is highly adept at tailoring traffic flow through a home, commercial kitchen, or office space for optimum impact.

The care of the environment in the environmentally unfriendly construction industry is forefront in her current concern. She will guide you to make choices that not only save you energy dollars but protect the environment of Georgia and on a global level as well. Continuing education for her crew and herself is a priority.

Growing up in the south Lisa is glad to make Decatur her home. She has been a resident for over 20 years; she has a family of five girls and one husband! All are active in the community, and are avid world travelers.

She was awarded the Decatur Design Award in 1995 for The Food Business restaurant, the Georgia Department of Human Resources award for employer of the year. . She is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, and the Decatur Business Association.
